This course is four x 1hr sessions, running in half-term, enabling students to gain an in-depth understanding of the context of Much Ado About Nothing. The course will make it easier-to-understand the style of writing, breaking down scenes, discovering plots, finding the subtext, distinguishing the importance or relevance of certain characters, looking at interpretation and using role-play to aid some of these aspects. The hardest part for most is to bring the literature to modern style and that is something we will do, but without losing the originality. Students don't necessarily dislike Shakespeare's plays, but find it might be boring or it seems like a different language but break it down and make it relatable and accessible to the teenagers mind and you are looking at a different outcome. This is why this course will work for you because it is set-up to be relaxed, enjoyable, fun, invigorating and engaging.
