Our Juniors class (Saturdays, 10.30am to 12pm) is a fun, supportive space where children explore drama, singing and movement while building skills that last a lifetime: confidence, creativity, teamwork and communication.

Whether your child is naturally outgoing or needs a gentle nudge to come out of their shell, Sonnets Theatre School helps them grow through play, imagination and performance.

What your child will learn​

Mime - Children discover how to tell a story without words, using expression, movement and imagination. It’s brilliant for building awareness, creativity and physical confidence.

Improvisation - With no script and just a spark of direction, pupils learn to think on their feet, create characters and build stories. Improvisation boosts resilience, spontaneity and social confidence.

​Confidence and Projection - We teach children how to stand tall, speak clearly and be heard, skills that help them not only on stage but in school presentations and everyday life.

Emotions - Through props, colours, stories and voice work, pupils learn how to express feelings authentically. This makes performances richer and helps children understand emotional communication.

Children aged 9 and above can begin working towards LAMDA Acting grades as an optional add‑on. Early LAMDA training helps build confidence, clear communication and strong performance skills - giving younger students a fantastic foundation before progressing into the Seniors programme.
